Kundalini Yoga is ancient practice, known as the “Yoga of Awareness”. Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a dynamic technology which utilizes breath work, mantra, mudras, asana and body locks. Kundalini Yoga repairs the nervous system, balances the glandular system, expands lung capacity, and purifies the blood. Each class will include a kriya; a sequence of exercises designed to create a particular effect, deep relaxation and meditation. All levels welcomed.
"I love Shannon's yoga classes. She offers a sweet blend of Kundalini breath work and Kripalu awareness. I like how she reminds us to “listen to our body,” and not push past our limits in the breathing exercises. I felt completely transformed after her class. Shannon expresses her gratitude and excitement for yoga through her precise teaching and warm presence. "

“I had heard yoga was a good thing to do, and I even had a sense of why, but I was intimidated by diehard enthusiasts and too shy to join a regular class. Enter Shannon. Shannon was warm, welcoming, and super patient as she introduced myself and several coworkers to yoga and lead us through weekly classes. I haven’t made yoga a habit (yet), but Shannon helped me get in touch with my physicality and breathing in a way I never had before. To put it plainly: Shannon changed my life in a profound way without all the pressure or fanfare usually associated with life changing events. THANK YOU!"
